Help with a little problem..

Okay, i just bought Farcry 2 on steam since it was on sale.

Well, im having a problem - trees and plans seem to be lacking an alpha. heres what i see:

So whats the dealio?

Settings are

1280 x 1024 8x anti aliasing every possible setting on Ultra high, except post is on "high" because there is no ultra high.

I am playing in DirectX 9 because my operating system is Windows XP 32 bit.

So any suggestions?

    An update:

    I found out with some research that Ati Crossfire capable systems (yes, my system is) had a bug, and im downloading a hotfix now.

    Ill close the thread if it fixes.

    edit: nope, did not fix.

    Jesus christ boy! Every setting is on Ultra High?! Tune that bitch down! Yea and those trees are lacking lots of alpha.. whats your graphics card?

    1: i can actually run all settings ultra high just fine.

    2: My graphics card is a sapphire HD 4870 512mb...

    3: i turned HDR and bloom off, and its fixed.
